And we can’t wait to introduce you to our TOMATO OF THE YEAR for 2023! The Winner? Melanie’s Ballet, a dwarf tomato plant that we fell in love with a few years ago and have marveled at ever since.

A beautiful pink plum, it’s been the earliest producer in our trial gardens for a couple years running and its productive character makes us feel like very good gardeners. We know you’ll feel that way too.

Its small and tidy nature makes it perfect in pots or content in the ground. One year in our test trials we planted a dense hedge of these plants 8-10 inches apart and it prospered! An early producer, you’ll want to take cuttings to keep it going strong all season long.

While visiting Roger’s you’ll find soils, fertilizers and everything else you need to have a perfect season. You’ll be inspired by this premiere California nursery and gift destination – plus you’ll get to benefit from the expertise of TOMATOMANIACS and Rogers’ amazing staff as well.

Keep an eye on the Roger’s Gardens website and social media for some special live and recorded educational content during our event!

We’re counting the days…see you there.
