Update: We’ve added classes!

Tomato 101 (All you need to grow great tomatoes) will happen at Underwood’s Moorpark farm at 2pm each day of the event, Fri/Sat/Sun.

Underwood Family Farms is legendary! It has long been a source of amazing produce and a favorite farm stop for West Valley-Ventura area cooks, animal lovers and families. (Our favorite part is their PICK YOUR OWN fields) They’re pretty much Disneyland for the farmer and gardener in all of us.

We’re sure you’ve been there to grab pumpkins in the fall or for their huge pastel-colored Spring Celebration but this year we’ll add to their incredible event lineup with a Tomato extravaganza at both locations. (And if you haven’t been there we know it will become a favorite haunt – you’re welcome!)

Our stay begins with a weekend blast April 5-7, just after Easter and at a perfect time for planting in the area.

We’ll showcase over 100 varieties of tomato seedlings, including our new TOMATO OF THE YEAR plus some extras you’ll need to have a perfect tomato season. We’ll also include some very cool peppers and a wider selection of veggie plants as supplies allow. Plus, our expert staff will be on hand to help you with growing questions and strategies. 

We’ll extend our offerings with a curated collection available there through the spring. 

*We’ll also be lining up a great collection at the Underwood Farm Market in Somis during the same period.
