If you live in Los Angeles, it’s hard to imagine that you haven’t been to or shopped at Anawalt Lumber company. Right?

In Los Angeles for decades, and with five locations, Anawalt provides Angelenos with quality building materials, home and home improvement products and yes, a really super Nursery department! Kind people, good products, nice plants, what else do you need? I know I was there for or five times a week at the height of my landscape career in LA and I appreciate everything they do and have to offer.

This year, TOMATOMANIA lands at Anawalt Hollywood for the first of what we hope will be many exciting events with this new family. We’ll aim for 75 varieties of tomatoes, all the products you’ll need to grow them and some good advice so that everything you do will be successful this season.

Keep an eye on Anawalt’s newsletter, social media or their website, for announcement of a TOMATO class as well! It will happen before our event, and it will in fact be on the westside at the Pico (at Sepulveda) location. If you need a few seasonal hints and tips, you’ll find them there. For the class we will also provide and offer a small collection of tomatoes (plants) that ranked high at last year’s Anawalt tomato tasting (Did you know they do that?!) …plus maybe a few surprises.
